How to keep flies away from home

To keep them out of the house, there are many popular solutions, but they don’t always work as we’d like:

• A transparent bag filled with water should scare them away.
• Mosquito nets are effective but limit movement and reduce natural light.
• Spray insecticides are also toxic for us, and electric devices are not always the most efficient.
• Other home methods, like bottles with funnels and a water-and-honey mix, work but are visually unpleasant.
• Ultraviolet lamps are highly recommended for certain spaces, like restaurants and kitchens, and some have designs that blend in very well.

Is there a definitive solution? There are places where a lamp won’t work, you can’t use a mosquito net, and sprays would not be effective.
