About the course
This 5-hour in-person training, officially approved by the Government of Andorra, is mandatory every 5 years for individuals who have already completed the basic Legionella course and need to renew their certification.
The aim is to refresh knowledge and ensure that professionals working in risk facilities (such as cooling towers, water systems, spas, etc.) continue to apply proper prevention, monitoring, and maintenance practices.

- Characteristics and epidemiology of Legionella
- Detection methods and prevention systems
- Updated legislation and risk facility notifications
- Water treatment: scaling, corrosion, disinfection protocols
- Associated occupational risks: chemical and biological
- Proper use of PPEs
Methodology
Theoretical training delivered through PowerPoint presentations, focused on knowledge updates.
To pass the course, participants must take a final test with at least 60% correct answers.
